“Network Marketing gives people the opportunity with very low risk and very low financial commitment to build their own income-generating asset and acquire great wealth.”

- Robert Kiyosaki

“In today’s world working for yourself is actually the safer route and working for a corporation has become the riskier proposition.”

- Paul Zane Pilfer

Network Marketing has created more millionaires than any other industry in the history of the world.”

- Les Brown

Network Marketing is a fantastic concept, and is,in essence, easy: You share with others something you believe in,and be consistent in sharing, and those people who get your passion, will want to work with you,be trained and encouraged by you and duplicate that process.

The difficulty is what happens when you feel rejected by the people who don’t get it? What happens if you struggle with discipline, procrastination, being easily distracted, have a fear of failure, don’t feel that you have the “stickability” required?

The answer to all those questions (and many others) is personal development – spending time and investing in YOU.

One of the privileges of this great industry is you get to empower others to reach their goals, but that isn’t possible without you first empowering yourself so that you know your own value and self worth.

Only a small percentage of people who are in Network Marketing succeed on a high level. As long as you are with a reputable company with proven success, that is ONLY due to one or more of the aforementioned issues, where people are struggling to overcome those barriers.

Many people won’t go there..they don’t want the challenge, they won’t face their fears and maybe they don’t want to face things about themselves that they don’t like. But is it worth the journey? If you want to succeed in Network Marketing and want to reach the potential that you have inside,on a personal level and as a business person, then oh yes..it’s worth it on so many different levels!! And aside from the financial rewards attainable through the industry I have met some incredible people, some of whom have overcome personal problems and traumas that could easily have crushed them. And they have not only gone on to create 7 and even 8 figure incomes, but have had and continue to have such a powerful influence on many peoples lives through seminars, video, television, books and other media. It is absolutely worth you becoming the best you you could possibly be.

Success is doing whatever you do to the best of your ability.

The great Jim Rohn said “It’s not what we get or accumulate that makes us valuable…it’s what we become.”

Seeing your own value opens the door to all kinds of new possibilities.

Online Affiliate Marketing Programs..yeah cool!..errr…. But Which One(s) ?

AFFILI-WHAT?

Basically affiliate marketing is an Internet-based marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate’s marketing efforts. So in essence Affiliate marketing is using one website to drive traffic to another.

EENIE MEENIE MINEY MO…

Yeah..I know, there’s 1000′s…everyone seems to be a guru nowadays, and at the risk of sounding like a skeptic (I’m not..honest!) half of them I suspect have one skill in common;namely “copy and paste”.

They might be promising to unlock the key to social media success,or whatever, and if you read, listen or watch a lot of them, first you’ll be reading, listening and watching a lot of the same stuff, and second,it’ll be your full time job!

I have to confess I’ve learned the hard way by probably taking on WAY too much content. As a hungry to learn guy in my first year of Network Marketing I just wanted to lap it all up,but it got to a stage where my head was spinning!

Don’t get me wrong I’m a complete advocate for continual learning,in fact,in my opinion, if you want to do well in this industry, or in any walk of life it’s essential, but the real skill is to be selective, because amidst the copy and pasters and time wasters, there is some GREAT stuff out there that could genuinely have a dramatic effect on your business.

SO HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT TO GO WITH?

The simple answer is the same way you choose the primary business you go into-due diligence. There’s an old African proverb that says “Only a fool tests the depth of the water with both feet” so check it out before you dive in.Find out a little about the person or people behind it,and see if you can find any reviews. In fact if you can’t find any, that’s a sign right there! Also ask around- see if anyone you know either within your business or your wider network have heard of it and/or are using it, and get some feedback.

MAKE SURE IT’S RIGHT FOR YOU,LEARN IT AND USE IT!

There’s no point in telling everyone how wonderful a product is when you don’t even use it yourself. In fact that would just be downright dishonest! And when you do use it,go for it! The person who half looks into it,watches the first couple of links, gets excited by the first one and a bit chapters then suddenly out of the corner of the eye there’s the temptation from the next new sparkly happy guru telling them that they’ll attract 1000 leads a minute. It’s not a rocket science revelation when I say if you put half into it, you get half out of it.

So have conviction about your choice and stay with it.

HEY DUDE…I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY FRIEND,MAN

So there’s a couple of things I recommend that you do.Here’s something I recommend that you certainly shouldn’t do: Don’t bombard your friends through email, on facebook or via other social networks with your affiliate program. It’s not big and it’s not clever. And if you want your friends to stay your friends…just don’t do it! Spam should be eaten, not put in people’s inbox. In fact don’t even eat it-it’s nasty.
